If you won £10m on the lottery...
How much would you give away? I would probably give £5m to kids, family and a few good friends ( maybe some to a charity that I trusted). I can make do with the rest till I'm gone. You?

A house in the Algarve and a nicer house in Cornwall (both with sea views obviously), an Audi RS7, a new Range Rover....That's about it. I'd only semi retire or I'd die of boredom.

A house on a river somewhere that ain't going to flood, a bolthole in Greece and spend the rest on whores and booze.

Realistically I'll probably settle for the 2 houses.....

I bet most people on here don't participate in the lottery. I used to when part of a syndicate but not since that ceased.

Not sure you're right there Seamouse. You don't pay Capital Gains Tax on gifts unless the UK has changed its tax laws since I left...

Wouldn’t want to win it.
To many people will want money off me and will end up in tears.

Wouldn’t mind a cheeky 50k so I can get my own little gaff mind.

Pay hitmen to knock off people convicted of conning old people out of their money, a crime I find particularly despicable.

After inflicting considerable pain on them first of course..

Just remember the most you can give away to anybody without paying Capital Gains Tax is £12.500. So if you are giving 5 million to the family, you are going to be spunking a hell of a lot of dosh to the government too.

Always these bastards make you pay and pay.

Probably die of alcoholic poisoning within a year, so I guess I'd be giving away about 9.8 million to friends and relatives in my will!

Actually I'd probably give 2.5 million each to Battersea dogs home and cancer research in said will.

Once I have got my Dog Rescue and Horse sanctuary set up I would like to offer Gav-BOAT a job as full time `plaster sticker on`.... if any animal has a chaff or a slight scratch I want Gav-BOAT to be there with his box full of plasters... helping the poorly animals
